UPDATE! RUDY IS ALMOST FINISHED WITH REVISING OUR ISNAG NEW TESTAMENT WITH THE ADDITION OF GENESIS AND EXODUS. HE HAS SUBMITTED THESE TWO OLD TESTAMENT FOR CHECKING AND SHOULD BE DONE IN SEPTEMBER 2005. RUDY HAS ALSO DECIDED TO START TRANSLATING THE OLD TESTAMENT IN ISNAG WHEN THE REVISION IS FINISHED, SO WE WOULD LIKE TO JUST PRINT 7,000 COPIES OF THE REVISED NEW TESTAMENT RATHER THAN PRINTING 35,000 COPIES. WE STILL NEED HELP IN DISTRIBUTION UP AND DOWN THE MOUNTAINS OF APAYAO – ISNAG COUNTRY. PRAY FOR THE FUNDS TO GET THESE 7,000 COPIES AT $8.50 EACH COPY SINCE WE ARE DOING A PRINTING WITH ILOCANO (TRADE LANGUAGE) INCLUDED IN THE PRINTING. JOIN US IN PRAYING!!!

Investing in lives through Bible translation work and providing the Word of God in people’s heart languages is what we are all about in Wycliffe. And that’s what is happening among the Isnag language as Dr. Rudy Barlaan is hard at work revising our Isnag New Testament and adding some Old Testament books.

The Word of God in Isnag had changed me forever through His grace. I want everyone in my heart language to have the same change I had gone through – by reading the Word of God in Isnag. Changed lives through His written Word is what I like to happen in my life time among the 35,000 Isnags, and by helping provide each of them with a Bible in Isnag in the heart language is a dream God can fulfill through His people.
